Shrink wrap or stretch wrap? Choosing your unitising method
Both protect outgoing pallets and multi-packs — but their economics and aesthetics differ a lot.
- Shrink wrap creates a tight, branded outer cover that's tamper-evident and shelf-ready. It's ideal for retail multi-packs, beverage bundles and high-visibility outer packs.
- Stretch wrap is faster and cheaper per pallet — but the finish is functional, not premium. It's the right choice for warehouse transit where appearance doesn't matter.
